【摘要】:ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandarddefinesaSystemsManagementFunctionthatmaybeusedbyanapplicationprocessinacentralizedordecentralizedmanagementenvironmenttointeractforthepurposeofsystemsmanagement,asdefinedbyITU-TRec.X.200IISO/IEC7498-1.ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandarddefinesafunctionwhichconsistsofgenericdefinitions,services,andfunctionalunits.ThisfunctionispositionedintheapplicationlayerofITU-TRec.X.200|ISO/IEC7498-1andisdefinedaccordingtothemodelprovidedbyISO9545.TheroleofsystemsmanagementfunctionsisdescribedbyCCITTRec.X.701|ISO/IEC10040.ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandard:-definesaserviceforthemanagementofclocksforusebyOSImanagementandavailableforusebyOSIapplicationsandothers;-establishesuserrequirementsforthisRecommendation|InternationalStandard;-establishesatimemanagementfunctionmodel,addressingthecomponentsofagenerictimeserviceinvolvingcommunicationbetweensystems,thatrelatestheserviceandgenericdefinitionsprovidedbythisfunctiontotheuserrequirements;-definesgenericobjectclasses,attributetypes,operationtypes,notificationtypes,andparametersdocumentedinaccordancewithCCITTRec.X.722|ISO/IEC10165-4;-specifiescompliancerequirementsplacedonotherstandardsthatmakeuseofthesegenericdefinitions;-definestheservicesprovidedbythefunction;-specifiesthemanagementprotocolthatisnecessaryinordertoprovidetheservices;-definestherelationshipbetweentheseservicesandsystemsmanagementoperationsandnotifications;-specifiestheabstractsyntaxnecessarytoidentifyandnegotiatethefunctionunitintheprotocol;definesrelationshipswithothersystemsmanagementfunctions;-specifiesconformancerequirementstobemetbyimplementationofthisRecommendation|InternationalStandard;-identifiestimesynchronizationprotocols.ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandarddoesnot:-addresstheprovisionoftimeinformationwithinalocalsystem;-definethenatureofanyimplementationintendedtoprovidetheTimeManagementFunction;-specifythemannerinwhichmanagementisaccomplishedbytheuseroftheTimeManagementFunction;-definethenatureofanyinteractionwhichresultsintheuseoftheTimeManagementFunction;-specifytheservicesnecessaryfortheestablishment,use,andnormalorabnormalreleaseofamanagementassociation.
