【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthemaindimensions,locationandnumberoffittings,materialsandqualityofmanufactureforsmallweathertightsteelhatchesforapplicationonboardshipsinordertoensureinterchangeabilityofthehatches.Theremainingdimensionsarelefttothemanufacturer.Thehatchesaresuitableforloadingoperationsandforgivingaccesstostoragecompartmentsanddrycargoholds.Thehatchesarenotsuitableasanaccesstoanykindoftanksandshallnotbeusedasescapehatches.ThesehatchesgenerallyconformtotherequirementsoftheInternationalConventiononLoadLines1966(LLC66).Thepossibilityforapplicationinposition1andposition2hastobeconsideredforeachsituationand,wherenecessary,thehatchcoversshallbeprovidedwithadditionalstiffening.NOTE—UsersofthisInternationalStandardshouldnotethatwhileobservingtherequirementsofthisstandard,theyshould,atthesametime,ensurecompliancewithsuchstatutoryrequirements,rulesandregulationsasmaybeapplicabletotheindividualshipconcerned.
