【摘要】:ThisStandardcoverscommercial,freestanding,under-counter,andcounter-insertdishwashers,utensil-washers,andglasswashersusingwaterastheprincipalcleaningmedium,hereafterreferredtoasdishwashers.Thesedishwashersutilizesteam,gas,orelectricheatersforheatingthewater.Heatedwaterisprovidedtoadishwasherbymeansofsteam,gas,orelectricheatingsystemsintegraltotheappliance,orbymeansnotintegraltothedishwasherthatisprovidedattheinstallationsite.ThisStandardcovers:a)electricdishwashersrated600Vorless,installedinaccordancewiththeCanadianElectricalCode(CEC),Part1CSAC22.1,andtheNationalElectricalCode(NEC)NFPA70;andb)thegas-handling,gas-burning,andgas-controlfeaturesofgas-fireddishwashershavinginputsof400,000Btu(420MJ)perhourorless,limitedto0.5psig(3.45kPa)inletpressure,installedinaccordancewiththeNationalFuelGasCode,ANSIZ223.1/NFPA54,ortheNaturalGasandPropaneInstallationCode,CAN/CSAB149.1forusewith:1)naturalgas,2)manufacturedgas,3)mixedgas,4)propanegas,5)liquefiedpetroleumgases,or6)LPgas-airmixtures.Theserequirementscoverdishwashersintendedforuseincommercialestablishments,suchaskitchensofrestaurantsandhospitals,wheretheyarenotintendedtobeaccessibletothepublic.
